THE WAY IT IS USED
Under the ASTM 1116-C standards concretes should have, in terms of volume, %0,1 fibre to be considered a fibred concrete. In other words 1lt of fibre should be used for 1m3 concrete. When polypropylene densitity is 0,9 kg / litre the dosage should be at least 0,9 kg / m3

BETONFIBER polypropylene fibres are water soluble and with its special bags it can be put directly into the mortar. Adding one bag to each manuel concrete mixing tool, concrete mixed truck and batch plant is sufficient. After five minutes of high level rotational mixing BETONFIBER fibres dissolve and millions of each pieces of fibre will be spread homogenic throughout concrete. There is no harm in mixing too much. When high resistance against abrasiveness and densitiy of micro reinforcement are needed BETONFIBER fibre dosage can be increased up to %0,2’ye (1.8 kg / m3) volume.
